Project Description
The team at Bucks Security were contacted by the site management team at Chiltern Hills Academy to replace a non functioning CCTV system covering F block. The existing outdated system consisted of a limited number of cameras covering the perimeter of the building and playgrounds around the area. The system had to be designed for the purpose of helping staff monitor the area not only out of hours but during scheduled breaks as well.
Our team designed, supplied and installed a system based on this brief consisting of Hik vision darkfighter series turret and PTZ camera due to the large area to be protected. Whilst also ensuring adequate expansion was included for future development of the site and the upgrading of the existing system covering the main building. Access to the system was limited to specific members of staff using a dedicated PC located in the office area. This was a important function of the system due to the nature of the environment and ensuring safeguarding procedures were adhered to.
